Departure from Crete

Your experience starts from Crete with our luxurious high-speed vessels. At the ports of Heraklion or Rethymnon, you can easily find our kiosk and our officer will exchange your voucher with Ferry tickets. In less than two hours you will arrive at the port of Santorini.

Arrival in Santorini – Visit Oia

When you arrive at the port of Santorini, Athinios, you will relax on a comfortable, air conditioned bus. First you will visit the village of Oia, the northern tip of the island. During the journey you will enjoy the view of the countryside. Built on the northern part of the Caldera rim, Oia offers a magnificent view of houses studded along the volcanic rock hillside overlooking both the Mediterranean and Aegean sea.

Visit Fira

Our next stop will be the island’s capital (chora), called “Fira”. There you will have plenty of free time to explore the picturesque traditional little alleys, admire the unique aesthetics of Aegean architecture, shop or simply enjoy a drink and the view of the volcano over the cliffs of Caldera.

Departure from Santorini – Arrival in Crete

At the end of the excursion our buses will arrive at the port of Santorini where you will embark in our vessel and travel back to Crete. You will be able to enjoy the beautiful and colorful greek sunset while crossing the Aegean and Cretan sea.

Itinerary

Departure

The cruise ship departs at 8.00 am. The duration of the sailing journey lasts 3 hours.

Port

We begin early. You will have the option to either request transportation from your hotel back, in the morning and after the end of your trip, or join on your own, by showing up at the fixed port forty-five (45) minutes prior to the departure of the boat.

Ferry Tickets

You will exchange your reservation voucher at the company kiosk, located right outside the boat, and once you receive your appointed personal ferry tickets you will embark on the ship

Bus (in Santorini)

On your tickets you will find a number, which corresponds to the selected bus, that will be waiting for you upon arrival at the Port of Santorini.

Route Schedule

The duration of the cruise is approximately 3 hours, before reaching Santorini.

The bus routes will not be more than thirty (30) minutes long between the destination points.

Fira / Oia

You will be given approximately 2 hours of free time in Oia and, likewise, another 2 in Fira.

There will be a guided tour, while on the bus.

The program is arranged accordingly each time. Be sure to pay attention to the directions of your guide.

Food

You will be able to enjoy some drinks and a light meal on board.

Return

Expected return time is around 20.00 – 20.30 at the Port of Rethymnon.

FAQ

Is the price different when travelling from the Port of Heraklion instead of the one in Rethymnon?

Yes, there is a small difference in the price (read thoroughly the related excursion from Heraklion). It is slightly more affordable when travelling from Heraklion, and less time-consuming, regarding the boat ride.

Is the program of the excursion different from Heraklion?

The schedule of the tour remains the same in any case, and the responsible coordinator company is SEAJETS.

I request an organized transfer from and to my hotel.

Absolutely possible, with a minor additional charge (8€/per person). Upon your reservation, we will inform you of the exact time and meeting point, you will be picked up by the bus.

Is the island of Santorini an expensive destination?

If you ask us, we consider it an expensive island. However beautiful with its extremely unique landscapes, it is costly and overcrowded.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, I will not be able to travel. Will I lose all my money?

If we are made aware of the situation before 20.00 on the previous day, our company will take care of your complete and immediate refund. In the case of a no-show on your behalf at the time of departure and you miss your trip, then you will be provided with two options: 1) To either change the date of your tickets or 2) to present us with a doctor’s document, so we can properly refund you.

We ask your honest opinion… is this excursion worth it?

We are always honest. We are interested in efficiently informing our guests and preparing them for the fact that this is a very small and busy island. The buses will be packed with travellers, and so will the ship. The island itself, as well as the ferry tickets are considered pricey. So ultimately, it will depend on you and your wishes… One thing is certain, you will not feel the authentic hospitality that our activities and experiences are ideal for. We recognize that for some it is a life’s dream. It’s your call…
